The new Visalia Emergency Aid Council (VEAC) website is live, giving the organization an updated design built on the SquareSpace Content Management System (CMS). User Guides and training are part of the package, so that VEAC staff can maintain the content without relying on a web designer.

They wanted something functionally simple with a low number of pages on an affordable budget. It had to be easy to update. For the design, they wanted to communicate optimism and enthusiasm, to reflect the demeanor of the people that work at VEAC.

SquareSpace was chosen because I knew we didn’t need the full capabilities of a WordPress website and the maintenance overhead it always brings. The only recurring expense for this website is the annual web hosting fee from SquareSpace.

I really enjoyed working with the team at VEAC. They brought great humor, creative vision, and direction to the project!
